Cancer Care

Available and accessible to ALL PEOPLE, Cathedral centre Cancer Care offers a Christian ministry to cancer sufferers, their carers, families and friends, through:

• Regular prayer

• Ongoing support

• A point of contact

• Spiritual help

• Help in discovering God

The centre is made up of dedicated and committed Christians from all walks of life. They include current cancer patients, people whose lives have cancer and a number of priests.

Whether sufferer, carer, family or friend, a welcome is extended to you. There are short weekly prayer times in the Cathedral and support talks followed by refreshments in the Cathedral Centre. You may wish simply to submit a name for regular prayer either in person, by phone or by email. Appropriate counselling services can be arranged, always by prior appointment.

Cancer Care Prayer Meetings

This prayer meeting takes place in an informal setting and is open to anyone who is affected by cancer, whether
through illness itself or through contact with a friend or relative who has been diagnosed.

Perhaps you have not been directly affected, but would like to come to pray and think about those who have.
The meeting is an opportunity to talk, to reflect, to pray and offer support.

Meetings take place every Tuesday at 3pm in St Dunstan's Chapel.
