Leicester Cathedral Old Choristers Association

The Association was founded in 1965 and is affiliated to the Federation of Cathedral Old Choristers’ Association which was founded in 1910.      www.onceachorister.org

The objects of the Association are;

a.)     To establish and maintain links between ex-choristers.

b.)   To encourage the membership to participate in the life of the Cathedral and in
        particular its music.

        c.)    To support the musical activities of the Cathedral,

d.)    To arrange social and other activities in furtherance of these intentions.
 

There are five different classes of membership namely;

a.) Full Membership shall be open to all who have served as choristers at    
     the 
Cathedral Church of St. Martin, Leicester.


b.) Honorary Membership shall be open to anyone who has served as a       

     chorister in the Parish Church choir of St. Martin, Leicester.

 

c.) Associate Membership shall be open to those who are or have been connected  
    with the music of the Cathedral and shall be proposed, seconded and elected by
     the Executive Committee.
 

d.) Affiliated Membership shall be open to members of other Cathedral Old Choristers’
      Associations who live in the diocese of Leicester.
 

e.) Patrons are those who are interested in the work of the Association and who       
      subscribe to its funds.

The Secretary would be pleased to hear from anyone who would like to join the Association and receive further details of its activities.
