Sunday; up early to catch the coach to Narita Airport - packed breakfast on the bus but no egg sandwiches this time.  We said goodbye to Jonathan and Yoshimi, who were travelling on to Korea.  Boarding was delayed but finally left about 45 minutes late.

While writing this last update we were 35000 feet over Siberia north of Omsk with about five hours to go to Heathrow.  It would be 11.25am in Britain so I suppose it would be the middle of the Cathedral Sunday Eucharist.

I can't believe we have only been away for 10 days - for most of us eating with chopsticks is now second nature - in other ways it seems to have flown by. Our time in Tokyo (Thursday - Sunday morning) was no exception.  Every service or concert has been an overwhelming success - mostly standing room only. 

The hospitality, warmth and generosity of our Japanese hosts has been incredible and very moving.  I'm sure that what we have experienced over the last 10 days is something that both we and our hosts will remember for many, many years to come.
